International Women’s Day (IWD) is a global holiday celebrated annually on March 8 to commemorate the cultural, political, and socioeconomic achievements of women. It is also a focal point in the women’s rights movement, bringing attention to issues such as gender equality, reproductive rights, and violence and abuse against women.
International Women’s Day is commemorated in a variety of ways worldwide; it is a public holiday in several countries, and observed socially or locally in others. The UN observes the holiday in connection with a particular issue, campaign, or theme in women’s rights. In some parts of the world, IWD still reflects its political origins, being marked by protests and calls for radical change; in other areas, particularly in the West, it is largely sociocultural and centered on a celebration of womanhood.
On March 8th, DELEE HONEY celebrate International Women’s Day with a welfare for every woman in the company. We organized group building activities for outdoor barbecues and group movie viewing.
In the early morning of the day, everyone cleaned and skewered the ingredients they were going to bring before departure. 9.30 go before departure for the Barbecue location. The barbecue place is on the riverside, and there are fish farmers nearby. The environment there is very good and the air is very fresh. We found a shaded spot, set up our packs, and set up the grill.
The first step in grilling is to start a fire and burn charcoal. We picked up firewood and lit the fire first, and it took about half an hour to ignite the charcoal in the oven. Once the fire is lit, we can start roasting. We divide the labor and cooperate, some are grilling skewers, some are chopping vegetables, and some are flying kites with children. After a while, the skewers began to be in short supply. In particular, the owner of the fish farm also gave us a few fresh fish. We set up a fire next to it and put the fish in the pot to boil the fish soup.
Good times always pass quickly, in this beautiful spring, we spent the morning laughing. I have eaten the barbecue, and also drank the delicious fish soup. After eating and drinking, we started to return for the afternoon group watch a movie activities.
This team building not only allows the friends to spend a fulfilling and happy holiday, but also allows everyone to feel the beauty of spring, cultivate their hands-on ability, and make everyone more united and cohesive!
